SANS PERE LONDON

One of my favorite discoveries during my last visit to London was Sans Pere. A super cool shop, coffee cafe and a creative studio under one roof in Shoreditch.

Valet Bike Parking

Have you ever experienced a Valet Bike service? Well, they offer it at newly opened Sans Pere in Shoreditch. That comes in handy if you’re cycling to your work and need a coffee but don’t like to waste time locking your bike. And coffee wise you’re at the right place because one of the best baristas of London works here. Will Pitt won second place at the SCA UK Barista Championships.

Family, food and the importance of home

The name of Sans Pere, meaning without a father in French, is a tribute to the father of owner Barney Goff who passed away 8 months before he opened the cafe, shop and creative studio. Family, food and the importance of home are the three pillars Sans Pere works with. You can come in to browse through their coffee table books or buy a Petite Passport Guide who are being sold here too, chat with the staff about the neighborhood or drink coffee with some seriously good-looking pastries, quiches or sandwiches.

Wes Anderson

The interior was inspired by Wes Anderson and has a green color palette, with a beautiful counter made of terrazzo, inspiring art on the walls and lamps made by Smarin. Super Instagrammable! The location of Sans Pere is right in the heart of Shoreditch, across the street from Tokyobike.
